About me...
Hi, my name is Tim Borowy, and I am a -year-old creative developer from the Netherlands. In 2021, I graduated with a degree in Creative Media and Game Technologies (CMGT) from Hogeschool Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
In my free time I usually am:
- Experimenting with code
- Creating unique lamps
- Messing around with electronics
- Building combat robots
- Riding mountainbikes or climbing
- Making random things like trebuchets
What I do
Right now, what interests me most is bringing hardware and software together to create (IoT) smart devices, interactive installations, more buzzwords™
I find that my work has more impact when people can physically engage with what I’ve created. Since 2023, I’ve been applying my skills to building unique interactive experiences in the museum sector.
I create large-format touchscreen games, interactive projections, depth and skeleton tracking experiences using devices like Kinect, AI-powered computer vision tools for image and object recognition, full-service video booths, interactive map games, and more.
Where I come from
I live in the relatively small town near Rotterdam. Fun fact about my town: It's the lowest point of The Netherlands! (-6,78m below sea level) If all dikes were to break our houses will be most flooded of the whole country!
That's also part of the reason I'm usually found in the city of Rotterdam which is the greatest "rotstad" there is.
