About me...
Hi, my name is Tim Borowy, and I am a -year-old creative developer from the Netherlands. In 2021, I graduated with a degree in Creative Media and Game Technologies (CMGT) from Hogeschool Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
In my free time I usually am:
- Experimenting with code
- Creating unique lamps
- Messing around with electronics
- Building combat robots
- Riding mountainbikes or climbing
- Making random things like trebuchets
What I do
Right now, what interests me is bringing hardware and software together by creating Smart Devices, IOT Solutions, Interactive Installations, More Buzzwords™.
I think my work has more impact when people can touch and interact with the things I have created. That's the reason I'm combining my skills from software development with my hobby of Making.
Where I come from
I live in the relatively small town near Rotterdam. Fun fact about my town: It's the lowest point of The Netherlands! (6,78 m) If all dikes were to break our houses will be most flooded of the whole country!
That's also part of the reason I'm usually found in the city of Rotterdam which is the greatest "rotstad" there is.
